Launches SAS Waterhuizen

At SAS Waterhuizen, we have two slipways for vessel launches. The longitudinal slipway allows ships to be launched with minimal risk of damage. In recent years, we have also resumed using our transverse slipway, where vessels are launched sideways — a safe and truly spectacular sight.

Launch "Logpearl"

On 19 November, we proudly celebrated the launching of the Longpearl, an important milestone in the development of this new vessel. During the ceremony, the ship touched the water for the first time, officially marking the beginning of the next phase of construction and outfitting. The Longpearl is the first in a series of eight PMAX Eco Trader 6000T vessels that we are building here for our client Longship.
This launching was made possible thanks to the combined efforts of our entire team and our subcontractors, who continue to work on the project with dedication, quality, and the expertise of our shipyard. We will continue to keep you informed about the progress of the Longpearl as we move closer to final delivery.
